Our mission is to be a reliable provider of intuitive performance support and training solutions that allow customers to learn and solve problems where and when they need to. We strive to be a trusted partner in the instructional design community as well as the national security communities in which we serve.

Our vision is to be a global leader of learning innovations and to inspire and empower our teammates and other entrepreneurs to fail forward, be tenacious, and exceed expectations. We provide business mentoring for entrepreneurial veterans and military spouses who want to start businesses. We also provide internships for those pursuing a career or changing careers to the fields of technology and/or national security.

At Resonate, we empower our every teammate to solve problems, make decisions, accelerate response and delivery times, and support the emerging needs of our customers and their users. Each of our teammates has a degree or advanced degree and 10+ years’ experience in their field of expertise. 

Our ISDs have designed and developed performance support solutions, virtual training solutions, and instructor-led training materials for commercial customers and for national security agencies across the Federal government: Navy, Army, SOCOM, USMC, Intelligence Community, Department of State, Border Patrol, HAZMAT, and international firefighters.

Leadership

Resonate’s executives have diverse instructional design and national security backgrounds and expertise:

Erin Gibbens, President/CEO, provides strategic vision and implements long-term operational plans for the company. Prior to co-founding Resonate Learning, Erin was a senior member of a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support team for a DoD agency for ten years. She managed over 90 training projects, developed requirements, reviewed proposals, wrote SOWs and contract documents, designed and delivered high-level briefings, conducted needs analyses and training evaluations, and developed a community of over 200 government mobile learning early adopters. Erin has a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from George Mason University and a B.S. in Education from California University of Pennsylvania. She has spoken at 14 conferences throughout her career.                                                            

Kristy Clements, VP of Sales, leads Resonate’s capture, business development, and sales team. Prior to co-founding Resonate Learning, Kristy was a public-school teacher. She led professional development opportunities for educators at the local, state, and national level. She also served on committees to inform state and national education standards and wrote the content for the Pennsylvania state assessments. Kristy has a M.Ed. in Instructional Systems Design and a B.S. in Education from California University of Pennsylvania.

Ryan Gibbens, COO/CFO, ensures the efficiency of Resonate Learning’s operations and leads the instructional design team. Prior to co-founding Resonate Learning, Ryan provided project management and instructional design support to the DoD, FBI, and other intelligence community agencies. He managed and led course evaluations, and the design and development of instructor-led training, table-top simulations, board games, web-based training, and job aids. He also spent many years in sales and hospitality before supporting the Federal government. Ryan has a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from George Mason University and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Penn State University.
